We are thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Tesco Footie for All Grant for their incredible support in helping us launch a 10-week football programme aimed at young girls in our community.
This funding has allowed us to provide girls aged 4-11 with the opportunity to engage in football, learn new skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Many of these girls, living in rural and socially deprived areas, had never had access to such programmes before. Now, thanks to this initiative, we’re excited to be on the path to establishing our very first girls' football team here at Fivemiletown United!
This programme is not just about football – it’s about building confidence, fostering inclusion, and empowering the next generation of female footballers in our community.
